FAQ's About
Sunset Cruise Waikiki
Can we bring our own alcohol on our sunset cruise?
You can only bring alcohol on our BYOB sunset cruise. You must also bring an ID showing that you are at least 21 years old.
How long are your sunset cruises?
Our Waikiki Sunset Cruses are approximately 1.5 Hours. In the winter months the sun will set at the beginning of the tour and you will experience the Waikiki city lights after dark. During the summer you’ll experience more sunlight and the tour ending with a beautiful sunset.
Is there parking?
There is a paid parking lot at a rate of $2 per hour paid via QR code. We highly recommend that you take an Uber or Lyft from Waikiki if you plan to consume alcohol during your tour. If you do drive please plan ahead as it is public parking for the boat harbor and beach and can be limited.
Can I bring glass?
No, we do not permit glass on the boat. Please purchase canned beverages to bring on the BYOB tour.
How should I dress for the Sunset Cruise?
We suggest casual attire. A sun dress, shorts, Aloha shirts are all good options. A light jacket or sweater is also nice, especially during winter months.
What shoes should I wear on my Sunset Cruise?
Wear comfortable shoes or sandals. You’ll want something that you feel comfortable moving around a boat in. Unfortunately platform shoes and high heels can be difficult onboard and also can damage some boat decks so they are not allowed onboard, but going barefoot on the boat is also a great option!
Will we get wet on our Sunset Cruise?
While sometimes ocean spray can mist the bow (front) of the boat, especially on a breezy evening, there will always be dry areas. We have a large cabin with protection from the sun as well as an upper deck that won’t get wet.
What do we do if it is raining or bad weather?
The rain in Hawaii is generally unpredictable with passing shows followed just minutes later by sunny skies and rainbows! Because of the ever changing weather patterns we will generally go ahead with our sunset cruises in light rain or passing showers, expecting that it will clear up shortly and we’ll be blessed with a beautiful sunset. If there is heavy rain or it looks like it will not clear up then we will cancel our sunset cruise for the evening and reschedule guests / offer refunds to guests who can’t come another night.
